Because of the nature of massage sessions, I cannot answer calls while in an appointment with a client. Thus, it's essentially helpful that you leave me a message or text me with:
- your name
- contact phone#
- best days you are available
I will return your call as soon as possible and I strive do so within 24 hours. If you do not hear from me within 24 hours, please contact me again, I did not receive your massage. Technology does not always function as intended and I have had problems receiving messages in the past.
I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice, the 1st time this occurs you will be charged a fee of $50 for your missed appointment. If there is a 2nd time, the full session price will be charged. These fees are required to be paid prior to scheduling another appointment. Please allow enough time during the winter season to accommodate for slower traffic conditions.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” No show clients will be charged the full price for their missed appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
